3D Printed Plant Pots with AV Landscaping

3D Printed Plant Pots with AV Landscaping

At Hyperion, we’re demonstrating how advanced manufacturing can enrich traditional industries.

Our recent collaboration with AV Landscaping brought large format 3D printing into sustainable landscaping design, producing custom plant pots that combine functionality with artistry. The project highlights how digital fabrication can create practical, durable, and visually striking solutions that enhance everyday environments.

Project Background

AV Landscaping is a Perth-based company known for creating sustainable outdoor spaces that harmonise with their natural surroundings. Their team sought unique plant pot designs that would complement their landscaping projects while meeting sustainability goals.

Our Approach

The collaboration centred on a co-design process, where AV Landscaping’s design expertise combined with Hyperion’s 3D printing capabilities. Together we:

  • Explored forms that balance modern aesthetics with natural integration

  • Selected sustainable and durable materials suitable for outdoor use

  • Focused on producing functional, lightweight, and long-lasting pots

The Outcome

The result was a collection of custom plant pots that serve as both functional containers and artistic centrepieces. Each pot enhances the landscaping design while reflecting a commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Key outcomes included:

  • Customisation – tailored designs to match AV Landscaping’s vision

  • Durability – robust materials ensuring longevity outdoors

  • Sustainability – reduced material waste through additive manufacturing

Why it Matters

This project demonstrates how large format 3D printing can extend beyond industrial applications into design-driven, everyday products. It shows how modern fabrication tools can provide tailored solutions that enhance traditional practices.

Looking Forward

Our collaboration with AV Landscaping is just one example of how 3D printing can support industries seeking custom, sustainable, and design-focused outcomes. We’re excited to continue exploring new applications for LFAM, working with partners to deliver solutions that are practical, creative, and future-focused.
